ABOUT CHEF ANABEL Anabel was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and raised in Canada. Having traveled and lived in Canada, Mexico, Europe, North Africa, India and Thailand, she has developed taste buds and a palate for those traditional flavors and savory aromas. From a very young age Anabel has been influenced from both her mother's and grandmother's culinary traditions. Her mother, a restaurant owner and culinary critic in Canada, was an early influence on her fascination with gastronomic and culinary traditions. Anabel decided to studied culinary arts in Vancouver at the prestigious Dubrull French Culinary Arts school were she obtained
her degree with honors winning many culinary contests. She decided to gain more experience by travelling to France working
as an apprentice at
Anabel has remained someone with a passion to seek out new culinary adventures and challenges, from Mexico where her roots have brought her back to service at private vacation rentals and even on private yachts heading out on the Caribbean, and on the Mediterranean. Cooking is what she loves to do and looks forward to share her skills with you!
